After your arrival in Hamburg, a chauffeur will welcome you directly at your gate at the airport or train station and will drive you to your hotel. After check-in, we recommend a walk around the neighborhood to get a first impression of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
Harbour + City Tour
After breakfast, you will take a walk to the pier at St. Pauli-Landungsbrücken. During a harbor boat tour, you will discover Hamburg’s inner harbor, docks, shipyards, container harbor as well as the historic Speicherstadt – the world-largest timber-pile founded warehouse district of the world. The second largest port in Europe is more than 800 years old and has 310 moorings for sea-going vessels and 60 docks. Following the boat trip, your local guide is awaiting you for a city tour to see the heart of downtown Hamburg; the shopping street Jungfernstieg; Hamburg’s city hall, where Hamburg’s Senate reigns as well as the citizenry, as well as the city’s emblem, The Michel, from there you will be able to get a great panorama of Hamburg. The tour will end at the most famous street in Hamburg, the Reeperbahn. Here you can visit homey bars, pubs, clubs, cafes and establishments where the Beatles used to perform. The evening is at your own disposal.
Fish market + Departure
If you like to get up early in the morning, you must visit the legendary fish market. Since 1703, seafood of all kind is offered there every Sunday (in the summer from 5 a.m. and in the winter from 7 a.m.). Live music is part of the weekly market and the bartering of the merchants is a must-see. After this visit, your chauffeur will take you back to the airport or train station. Your experiences will be memorable.
