Day 1:
Arrival + City Tour
Arrival in Dresden and transfer from airport/train station to your hotel. After hotel check-in, you will meet your tour guide for a city tour in so-called “Florence on the Elbe”. You will see the world-famous Frauenkirche Church, the symbol of Dresden, which is regarded as Germany`s most important Protestant building in Baroque style; the Zwinger, a perfect example of late Baroque architecture in Germany; the Semper Opera House, one of the most beautiful opera buildings in the world; the Royal Palace, which used to be the centre of power of Saxon sovereigns; the richly decorated cathedral; the Procession of Princes, a mural painting on tiles from Meissen porcelain of over 100m length; the Brühl Terrace, a former rampart also known as “the balcony of Europe” and much more. The evening is at your free disposal.

Day 2:
Sightseeing cruise on the Elbe
After breakfast, you will take a stroll to the pier at the Elbpromenade to board a boat and enjoy a sightseeing cruise on the Elbe. Don`t forget to bring your camera! The afternoon is at your own disposal. Upon request, we can organise an excursion to close-by Meissen, the cradle of Saxony. In the remarkable 1000 years-old town you will also find the famous porcelain manufactory on the Albrechtsburg Castle. Since its foundation in 1710, the manufactory is producing the well-known Meissen porcelain in traditional handicraft.

Day 3:
After a rich breakfast, your driver is awaiting you for the transfer to the airport or train station. You will return home with numerous memories of this beautiful region.

Please also note that due to the opening times of included sights the program might have to be modified.

In cases of special events or important fairs and conferences, an accommodation in a centrally located hotel might not be possible. The excursion program however is generally not affected by these events.
