City tour Amsterdam
After breakfast a tour guide will take you on a tour of the city. You willsee most of famous sights as the oldest parish church in Amsterdam; the royal palace, which was built in 1648 as city hall and then was changed into a royal palace in 1808 by King Louis Napoleon; the Vondelpark, which is visited annually by more than 10 million people; the Albert-Cuyp Market, the most-visited street market in Amsterdam; the Anne-Frank House, where Anne Frank and her family hid for two years from persecution of the Jews during World War II; the van Gogh Museum with 200 paintings and 500 drawings of the famous artist; the canals, which were dug out from 1612 to 1663; and the 1889-central railway station. The afternoon is open for your own explorations.
In the morning we recommend you visit one of Amsterdam’s 50 different museums or the famous wax museum Madame Tussaud’s, where you can see many prominent European athletes, artists and royalties. A visit to the zoo is also worthwhile. Afterwards your chauffeur will transfer you to the airport or train station. You will return home with a number of memorable impressions.
